A big thank you to all of you that have made your generous donations to the beans and rice program here at the beach.  The "playa Encanto bag ladies" met at the hill house on Wednesday to rebag about 400# of beans and rice.  They had a great afternoon bagging and chatting.  It’s a wonderful thing when a community comes together for such a great cause and it's also a nice way for people to get together.  So far, we have taken in around 1 ton of beans and rice.  They will be distributed at the next stavros clinic and thanks to the family of god Christian fellowship for helping distribute the food to the areas of the bario that need it the most.

 Please help us make this an on-going project!  The need never ends.  Please, when you are shopping for groceries for a trip down to penasco, remember us and add some beans and rice to your shopping cart. Also needed are children’s vitamins. Bring them down with you!  A little from each of us goes a long way.
