Playa Encanto Beans and Rice Food Drive

The next clinic will be held on February 27th

As our hearts and dollars go out to the desperate people in Haiti, we have a dire situation right here in our own community of Puerto Penasco.  With so many out of work, the barrio is growing.  Dr. George Stavros (our HOA President) holds free clinics each month in the barrio.  He is finding many of the people, especially children, are showing signs of malnutrition.  We as a community can do something!!  Please contribute to our Rice and Beans program.  We will collect as much dry beans and rice (also needed are childrens vitamins) and distribute these at each of the clinics.  This is a start to what we hope will be an on-going program to help feed our neighbors.

Please bring dry beans, rice and childrens vitamins to the next homeowners meeting on Feb. 13 at Tres Amigos.  If you would like to contribute before (there is a clinic on Jan 23) please drop these items off at Sharon Hill's house at MZ 18 Lote 4.  If you have any questions, please contact one of the following people:
